kauai real estate: Kauai Real Estate Sales Statistics for October 2008

Single Family Home sales were up by 21% in October 2008 over what they were in October of 2007. Vacant Land sales are also higher this last month than in the same month last year. Condominium sales, however, are down. Prices are falling on Kauai, but not to the extent that we see in the mainland markets. Here on Kauai, the median price of a Single Family home has fallen 5.3% in the last year from $660,000 in 2007 to $625,000 in 2008. Vacant Land median prices have fallen 14.75% from $610,000 to $520,000. The median price for Condominiums has fallen … (7 comments)
