indiana law: Indiana property tax changes - impact on real estate - 01/11/10 02:46 AM
Today the Indiana General Assembly will be voting on the proposed tax cap constitutional amendment.  If this passes without any changes, a referendum will be put on the ballot in November and we will vote to make the current 1/2/3 tax caps permanent. 
I haven't heard much talk in real estate circles about this very important bit of legislation.  What are your thoughts? 
Do you worry that the caps are too tough on local governments, keeping them from being able to raise money for important services?  Or, do you think they are exactly what's needed to stop the growth … (0 comments)

Of course that's my opinion, but I'd sure like all Indiana agents to weigh in
Indiana Bill would make closings crazy
I'm not even going to take the time to reproduce the entire post here, just jump over to the link and let me know what you think?
Are you interested in letting your buyers "slide" their closing, consequence free?  Not if you're a seller or seller's agent right?  Better wrigh in on this one professionals.  A lot of legislators make up "cute" ideas in bills and laws, and then we end up having to abide by them even though we didn't tell … (8 comments)
