sacramento: Best Sushi in Sacramento - 08/31/09 08:06 AM
Yes, I know there will be those who might disagree with me, and I’m ready to face the challenge.
I have discovered what I believe to be the very best sushi in town. And, I take my sushi skills very seriously.
Silver Sake in Carmichael gives a new spin on sushi that is nothing short of fantastic. Now I know where you all like to eat sushi….I like “that place” a lot too, but I am not kidding you when I say that the Silver Sake is worth the drive and the time.
With more than 100 rolls, plus all the … (0 comments)

sacramento: Another Happy Buyer! - 08/10/09 08:17 AM
I love working with first time buyers. They are so wonderful to work with and so excited to get those keys in their hot little hands!
In this market, it’s important in making sure you have your team to help you buy your first house in Sacramento. Your team is your Realtor and your lender. They are both key to the success of the purchase of your first (or any) home. If you pick a good agent, she’ll be able to refer you to a lender who can get the job done. It’s important that you do business with folks who … (3 comments)

sacramento: Arden Park, in Sacramento, California - 07/27/09 06:06 AM
One of the nicest neighborhoods in my neck of the woods (aka Carmichael Area) is Arden Park. In fact, sometimes after I shop for fresh, organic produce at Whole Foods, I will take an extra 10-15 minutes to drive around the lovely, prestigious neighborhood (unless I have ice cream and it's 105 degrees out!).
The houses that reside in about two square miles off of Arden Way, are nothing short of magnificent. Now I'm not saying we don't have lots of lovely houses in other parts of Sacramento, but instead, that the Arden Park area is just unique in the homes … (1 comments)

sacramento: Appreciating Sacramento - 12/15/08 03:04 AM
Being in Northern California is such a blessing, weather-wise. As my friends back east are informing me of frozen faucets, I appreciate our more mild winters.Don't get me wrong, I am a sunshine addict, for sure, but I will trade in my sunshine for some clouds and rain so long as it comes with the occasional rainbows!
This weekend we drove out of Carmichael, the area I live in and try to stay closest to with my real estate clients, and headed to Clarksburg for an afternoon of visiting some friends. The drive over the river was just magical. I rarely … (0 comments)
