I am not asking what makes you better than another agent. I am asking, what makes you a better agent from day to day? Today, I asked myself this question. I am going into my 5th year as a Realtor(R), and I'd like to know that I have evolved into a better agent. Certainly, experience will make one better. But what else? Education? Without a doubt. I try to take advantage of the many classes our brand offers. Plus, meet the educational requirements for my licensing renewals. Don't Forget to check out my listings. Thanks so much. Real Estate is a challenging business, especially during the recession, but I believe we will still prosper. Of course I believe social networking benefits us all, and sharing our listings broadens exposure to our properties. Plus, we raise buyer awareness by sharing our blogs. Finding a 4 bedroom home with 3 full baths, plus all brick (and what beautiful brick work it is), with a huge rec room, very large laundry room, on a large, mostly level lot in Oak Ridge can be challenging. I can only imagine when people are relocating to Tennessee due to job or military decisions, that they may wonder what is special about this southern state. I was born and raised here, and I know there are many misconceptions about "southerners". Growing up, I was sometimes embarrassed by my southern drawl and ashamed of some of the ideas that others had of Tennessee, many that were spawned by television shows like The Beverly Hillbillies. I began my real estate career in 2005. I have always been pleased with how my business was doing, until mid to late 2008. Knowing that a few of years in the biz doesn't sound like much, let me say that I did better than I had anticipated, therefore I was happy.
