The Dupont Circle Citizens Association has announced the 6th Annual Ross Elementary School Auction will be held on March 22nd at the headquarters of the Human Rights Campaign, located at 1640 Rhode Island Avenue, NW from 6 pm until 9:30 pm.  There will be a silent auction followed by a live auction, scooter raffle, complimentary food a favorite local restaurant and much more.  
The auction is free and open to the public.  All proceeds benefit the students of Ross Elementary.  Hope to see you there!!!

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2B and the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District will host a public safety meeting Monday night, March 10th @ 7pm (Embassy Row Hotel, 2015 Massachusetts Ave NW).
The meeting is in response to a series of concerns in the area south of Dupont Circle and other nightlife areas in DC.  Residents and officials will be briefed on recent incidents and steps being taken to ensure public safety.
Representatives of the Metropolitan Police Department will take part along with the Director of the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration.  Also, other District officials will be there.
