soloman seal plant: Easy Perennials For Flower Beds and Gardens - 01/29/21 09:18 AM
Soloman's Seal is a woody perennial plant. Named after the royal seals and Hebrew letters its roots resemble, Solomon's Seal is a herbaceous perennial and lily family member. It grows all around the Northern Hemisphere. It is popular in the Great Lakes region. The Solomon's seal plant grows thick stems that outstretch to be tall and arching. From the stalk, parallel-veined green leaves grow. Solomon's seal produces flowers in the spring. The flowers dangle from the lovely drooped stem and have a pretty, but not overwhelming, scent. Bluish-black berries grow from the flowers in late summer.
