It saddens me to say that summer is almost done. It seems like summer just started. Summer is my absolute favorite time in Michigan. With over 11,000 lakes and the hot weather, there are tons of activities to partake in. As a mom, I'm always on the lookout for fun events. So here's the good news. In July, the sale of single family homes increased 8.6% over the same period last year according to the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors statistics (http://www.grar.com/). According to the National Association of Realtors, "a forward-looking indicator based on pending sales of existing homes suggests the market may stabilize in the months ahead." (GRAR bulletin) It truly is a great time to buy, especially if you are looking at a home purchase as an investment opportunity. The Bad News...
