Hammond knitters are needed to help soldiers in a unique and fun way. The Tealou & Josephine shop has created a group of knitters to knit helmet liners. These helmet liners are shipped off to soldiers serving our country overseas. The idea came about when a customer came into the Hammond shop to order a special type of yarn for helmet liners she was knitting for a soldier she knew serving abroad. The owner of Tealou & Josephine, Gretchen Chauvin, thought this was such a great idea that she presented it to her knitting group. The knitting group meets every Saturday from 1-2pm … (1 comments)
