I haven’t written an ActiveRain blog post in almost a year…. because I’m not as much of a Realtor as I used to be… I was a FULL-TIME (and then some) Realtor for 8+ years. I built a reputable business and had established my name in the St. Louis Metro East area. I helped a lot of buyers and sellers, I drove tens of thousands of miles with clients in my car, I was invited to multiple clients’ weddings, I was even on House Hunters. Here’s my highly anticipated year-end reading summary… complete with a picture of me in my pajamas standing next to a pile of books. I have to start by saying that this isn’t a very complete pile… or list. In our last house, I always cleared off a section of shelf in January – and throughout the year – as I finished books – that’s where they went. When we started packing, I carefully labeled all my boxes of books so I could find not only my “current year” shelf but also my “on deck” shelf. Happy New Year! I've been a total slacker in the blogging department lately. But, I had Matt take my picture next to the pile of books that I read in 2014 - and that's usually my 'kick-the-year-off' blog post - so here I am again:) Last year I read 35 books (pictured). My favorites: Sisterland, Detroit: An American Autopsy, Cleaving, Room, The Reader, Five Days at Memorial, and Yes Please. The Glass Castle, When I was Puerto Rican, and All is Vanity were books I'd read before and reread this past year. My least favorites: The Liars' Club (maybe it was the (1 comments)
