Brooklyn Girl Eatery will be Mission Hills newest addition to a great list of fabuous restaurants located in the middle of the business district. They are schedule to open in the fall of this year. They are touting a "Casual neighborhood American eatery with a sustainable farm-to-table attitude". This will be another welcome eatery within a short walk from my home so I'm excited to see what they have to offer.

Well, October 1st, 2010 I finally became the owner of the home I've been trying to buy for over a year and half. Dealing with Bank of America, sub-divisions of Bank of America and other lenders was a nightmare and this will do down as one of the most difficult transactions of my career. This property was so clouded by so many different people, it was amazing that we finally got this deal done. I posted the Market Absorbtion Rate for Mission Hills San Diego 1 year ago. Let's see if anything has changed. I wanted to give you some quick numbers on the Mission Hills, Banker's Hill and Hillcrest detached home market. Ok, I know you are asking, what the heck is market absorbtion rate? Turner Construction has completed the 1Mission mixed-use project in the Mission Hills community. The project involved the restoration of a turn-of-the century commercial block and building a new five-story complex with 61 residential units residential and 25,000 square feet of retail space. 1Mission features 13 two-story townhomes with street-level entrances and 48 one-story homes. The complex has more than 30 different floor plans, ranging from one-bedroom, one-bath units, to three-bedroom, three-bath units that range from 1,057 to 2,671 square feet.
