Between days of working hard as a Realtor, helping buyers find those perfect homes and sellers get their homes sold, we have been working hard in our own yard. Anyone who drives by our place might see bales and bales of stacked pine needles lined up along the driveway slowly being placed in the flower beds. Usually, my dad's old mower is right there with the wagon attached for hauling. A valuable lesson in landscaping and utilities was learned today.  And might I add a costly one at that!
While Clarksville and Montgomery County offer sewer in most areas, Pam and I have always had a septic system and thankfully never had any significant issues with them.  Well, that changed today - but it was a decision from approximately ten years ago that caused the issue we face today.

It is hard to believe today is the last day in February!  We have been experiencing weather we usually see in April time frame here in Clarksville.  I for one look forward to the longer and warmer days to come! 

Gotta love the daffodils sprouting up in so many places around town!
