witches: QUOTES from the Sandbox ~ Thurs., Oct. 31, 2019 - 10/31/19 08:57 AM
HAPPY  HALLOWEEN, Everyone!  I am following the quotes today with one
of my favorite childhood poems my Mom used to recite to us each year on
Halloween.  Perhaps you also remember it from your childhood.  Of course,
much depended on the inflection of the one reciting;  my Mom was great at
this.  I recall when she was in the hospital and dying, I brought my guitar to
the hospital and sang her favorite hymns.  I also grabbed a printed copy of
this poem and read it to her just hours before she died.  I tried to do the
reading like she taught us to do.  I tried to make it fun … (7 comments)
