Top Real Estate Firms in Virginia Beach is not that easy to determine. Mainly because most agents are independent contractors and don't necessarily own any shares of the actual firm. Keller Williams Town Center in Virginia Beach is a little different. Keller Williams agents are also owners in the firm. Because Keller Williams profit shares to its agents they take ownership and actually participate in the financial being of the market center. If the market center makes a profit then the agents that participate also make a profit. This profit comes from the owners not from the agents. WOW, I am at #REBCVB in Virginia Beach, this is brand new to me and it looks like it's new to just about everyone in the room. Lots of discussion on the uses of social networking and the usage of Facebook and Twitter. The biggest discussion so far is about personalizing your blog and discussions versus making it too much about a service you might be trying to sell. Just saw this on Rismedia: Good News for Real Estate? Largest Monthly Home Sale Percentage Increase in 5 Years Reported RISMEDIA, Oct. 27, 2008-Due to falling real estate prices and rising foreclosures on the West Coast, sales of existing homes rose to its highest level in 13 months and highest percentage increase in five years, according to a report issued today by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). The increase resulted from buyers responding to improved housing affordability conditions, the organization stated.

Enough is enough. In case you haven't figured it out yet, the market is correcting itself whether you like or not. It's like Gary Keller wrote in the Shift book, "What goes up , must come down". It's the law of Equilibrium. Too many agents and not enough business, it's about time. For those of you that will be left standing when it's all said and done, CONGRATULATIONS!
