Even late into December the Northeast was experiencing higher than average temperatures right up until New Years Eve. It made it pretty difficult to get into the holiday spirit when the weather suggested more of a balmy night on the beach. Now that old man winter has finally paid us a visit, some of us are happy to be dealing with the 16 degree chill (fingers crossed for snow!)...but if you are anything like me I'm sure you're counting down the days til spring!

Yesterday, here at Keller Williams Realty Empire, we held our DISC assesment class. Agents learned how their personalities can impact their business and how they can better understand client personalities as well. I got 2 tickets to see the Brooklyn Nets game (thanks to our awesome Broker). My husband and I were taking pictures all night. " I was so amazed at how much development is booming in Downtown Brooklyn. Now I know why they call it the 'NEW MANHATTAN'. It was great to see the kids in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn out Trick or Treating! Looking back to last year, we were hit with Hurricane Sandy which was a tragedy on so many levels but also took away Halloween for the kids. New York bounced back quickly and I happy that a year later there are so many great things we are thankful for!
