I like to think that we give back or pay it forward in a lot of different ways. One could say that helping a young couple find the house where they will raise their family is paying it forward. In fact just yesterday a couple who we helped purchase a home earlier this year had their first child!
But I am pretty sure that isn't what we're talking about when we say "Pay it Forward."
Jean came up with a great birthday wish that completely embodied the idea of paying it forward. This was so selfless yet so beautiful!

Well, we did it! We met the challenge of writing at least one original post per day for every day in November. It was fun, but also challenging at times.
Here's a recap of what we wrote about.
We wrote two posts on November 1st. One was about the time change and the other about No Shave November. As month went on we wrote about converting a rental listing to a sale listing, the trouble with short sales and those annoying robo calls from poiliticians. On November 1st we announced that Wayne will be participating in No Shave November. So now we're twenty five days in. As you can see, Wayne really needs a haircut and a shave.
We've raised some money but we've got a long way to go to reach our goal. All we ask is that you make a minimum donation of $5. You can donate as much as you like.
Every penny of your donation goes to the American Cancer Society.
Let's do what we can to help fund the research that hopefully will wipe out this disease in our lifetime.

I guess that it's my positive attitude that came up with the title for this post.
Last night while driving home I was on the phone negotiating a deal. We came to a meeting of the minds. Not just on one deal, on two! Yes, two of our listings have contracts coming in today that by day's end should be in Attorney Review status. So I'd say yesterday was pretty great!

This is the copy for an ad that we're placing in the book that's given to ALL golfers that will play at Galloping Hill Golf Course in 2015. This year there were more than 30,000 rounds of golf played at Galloping Hill! The book includes maps for each hole as well as the entire course and the score card. We're not sure which page we'll be on, but we will be listed on one of the holes on the front nine.

The phones have gone quiet. No messages on the answering machine today! I'm not talking about sign calls, I'm talking about politicians.
Thankfully election day has come and gone. I did my civic duty and voted. But now the phone will stop ringing.
I'm sure you all know what I mean. Those incessant robo-calls from politicians. Over the last several days, I'd come home to no less than 5 messages on the machine. And the calls would keep coming, some as late as 9 o'clock. But now, that the elections are over it will be the telemarketers calling the house.
