Here in New Jersey the Governor has ordered that all "non-essential" employees remain home. 
Businesses are ordered to make tele-solutions possible for employees if able.  Travel is restricted to trips to the grocery store, the pharmacy, the doctor's office, etc. In NJ ALL gatherings are canceled, no church services, weddings, funerals, parties or any other gatherings are allowed.  It's OK to go for a walk or a bike ride to get some exercise, but social distancing must be adhered to.

Rahway and Linden are experiencing a strong buyers market. Inventory is steady with about 6% of active listings selling in February. There are currently 141 single family homes offered for sale in Rahway and 147 single family homes offered for sale in Linden.
In February, the towns of Rahway and Linden had 26 homes sold for an average price of $178,425 and after an average of 151 days on the market.
Prices are down in Rahway and Linden. Over the past 2 years, prices have dropped about 21%.

The Borough of Mountainside in Union County was ranked number 44 on NJ Monthly's Best Places to Live, and almost 7000 people live there. Public school students in Mountainside attend Beechwood School, Deerfield School, and Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights which was built on the site of a former Nike Missile base.
 
There are currently 17 homes offered for sale in Mountainside. While a lower inventory is typical for real estate in January, this is the lowest inventory Mountainside has seen in years. As inventory drop, supply can no longer meet demand and, typically, prices rise.
