wordless wednesday: (Nearly) Wordless Wednesday - If it looks like a duck... - 04/12/17 10:48 AM
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck……

Here are a few of the fine feathered friends we spotted at Mindowaskin Park this weekend.

Mindowaskin Park is on East Broad Street in Westfield and spans 12.6 acres. Lots of walking paths around a lovely lake make it one of our favorite summer evening spots.

wordless wednesday: (Nearly) Wordless Wednesday - If a tree falls in the woods..... - 04/12/17 10:35 AM

We took this picture at Nomahegan Park in Cranford. There are hiking paths with a fitness trail around the lake and through the woods. Kids ride their bikes around the lake and fish in it in the summer. There’s a nice sized playground and fields for soccer and baseball. There's also plenty of parking and clean bathrooms.

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday - No Egrets - 04/12/17 09:56 AM
No egrets.

Or, more accurately, two egrets. They were sitting in the water peacefully at the Meadowlands Environmental Center when I startled them.

If you haven't been to the Meadowlands Environmental Center yet, it's definitely worth the trip. Lots of hiking paths, beautiful views of this delicate ecosystem. Here is an older blog I wrote about it.

wordless wednesday: (Nearly) Wordless Wednesday - Sunrise with Venus - 04/12/17 09:39 AM
Sunrise always takes my breath away. This particular photo was taken during a vacation we took to Arizona. I find it hard to adjust to time differences, so early mornings in Arizona found me drinking my first cup of coffee on the balcony while the rest of the family slept until a more decent hour. You can see Venus to the upper right of the rising Sun in this photo.

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday....Only because there are no words for this one - 08/04/15 04:11 AM
Found this wallpaper in a home we were showing a client....I didn't know where to look.
Should  I have titled this post "NSFW"???

Luckily for us, the client had a sense of humor. I snapped a few pictures and got the heck out of Dodge :) What would you have done?
