marketing: Is a property’s potential its most important feature? - 09/04/13 04:10 AM
From our perch; older, obsolete housing stock is not where the demand is….unless of course, buyers see potential.
Certainty this does not apply to every area, we’re talking about the most vibrant markets…where the money is flowing aggressively back into housing.
We see this as part of a trend that has been in place for decades and a scenario that is virtually never-ending.
So, is selling potential the most important aspect to the marketing and sales process in real estate?
In our experience, it’s right up there near the top. :)

marketing: Has the new real estate stuff "jumped the shark"? - 03/14/13 07:42 AM
A broker friend told me this morning that her biggest take-away from the Prudential RE Convention earlier this week in Vegas was simply; get to work....the "old school" way.  I had actually been thinking the same.
Has "innovation(s)" in the real estate business "jumped the shark"?
An agent wrote for Inman today exclaiming - syndication, who cares?  Gahlord Dewald, a popular real estate strategist, wrote this week asking whether there had been any real innovation in the real estate industry that had benefited the consumer.

So, with the exception of some alternative sources of ad placement, has the marketing strategy for growing a (hyper) local … (0 comments)

marketing: Do brands matter in Real Estate? - 02/04/13 12:35 AM
For over 12 years we have done business using a strong, one-word descriptive brand that gets our phone to ring and creates a call-to-action for agents, buyers and sellers interested in using our consumer-centric products and services.
Well, in an effort to broaden the scope of the business and offer our customers (agents, brokers, buyers and sellers) alternative products we've launched a softer and more gentle brand for our clients to use via a simple licensing agreement.
What do you think?
