This historic home built in 1851, located at the corner of Mayberry Drive and McCarran Boulevard in Reno, Nevada, is a two-story mansion that was originally constructed in Virgina City, Nevada and moved to its present location amid acres of open space in 1901. It was the home of Nevada Pioneer Crissie Caughlin. Today, the home is a landmark for Southwest Reno. The Caughlin Ranch House has a museum-like quality without being stuffy. The house received the City of Reno's Historic Preservation Award for a Residential Structure in 1997.
