YAHOO it's Friday. Things are great here at Deep Creek Lake. The weather has been terrific and I got to play tennis with my daughter. This 40+ somthing beat a 20 year old 6 to 1! I am feeling good. We played at the Northern Middle School tennis courts. I had lunch today with a colleague from Long & Foster at the Perkins at the Market Square Shopping Center. It was delicous. We enjoyed their new salad, called a Market salad. I had fresh apples, candied walnuts and grilled chicken with a raspberry dressing. If you are in town anytime soon, … (0 comments)

It is another gorgeous weekend at Deep Creek Lake there is alot of activities going on. Ceud mille failte!(A hundred thousand welcomes!) First there is the McHenry Highlands Festival (http://www.highlandfest.info/index.html) it is time to enjoy the celtic celebrations and listen to the bagpipers. The Baltimore Raven Cheerleaders were in town. Sorry that you missed them and if you love yard sales, it was a big weekend here in Granstville. Keep your taste buds ready and we will keep you posted. The Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department regularly holds a BBQ chicken and rib dinner located at their new firehall location on Rt. 669. … (0 comments)

I have been on information overload for the last two days and getting ready to head into another learning experience. Yesterday was a beautiful day in FairOaks, VA and was full of incredible information presented by the Exectutive Management team and Project1 team at Long & Foster. Lot's of incredible changes on the way. Watch out for April 1st and see what is coming. This afternoon I will be attending a webinar with Bob Carney, (GotBob) called Blogging for Business. deep creek: Incredible Day at Deep Creek Lake

59 degrees and counting. Can you believe that on March 6th in Garrett County @ Deep Creek Lake it is that warm. But hold on, because Mr. Winter may not be done. I remember about 10 years ago in mid-March we had a huge snow storm. It was beautiful. Deep Creek Lake is still frozen at the moment, but with these tempratures it won't be long before the boats will be buzzing by. The scary part is that there are folks still going out on the ice!!
