I have done many Short Sales over the years and .....they used to be a lot easier to do! This year, what I find is that there are several problems and issues to deal with and I am speaking from the Listing Agent side of the Transation. 1. Sellers who are facing foreclosure have limited knowledge about Short Sales and how they work. 2. Buyers agents have limited information about how Short Sales and Short Sale Negotiations work. 3. I count my lucky stars that I make home and work in Tarrant County, Texas! While the market has been a bit strange since February, it all came together for my clients in June and July to produce sales on almost all of my listings!
