Great arithmetic if you ask me!! I am so excited, I am bursting at the seam! This Saturday is the Women’s Council of Realtors, Placer County Chapter’s Annual “Jazz and Wine under the Stars” event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Placer County Veteran Stand Down within the Gold Country Chaplaincy. Gold Country Chaplaincy is dedicated in providing spiritual, emotional, and mental support in times of need or crisis to our Military personnel, Veterans, and their families. ...there has been an explosion of a tank car; one of many terrorist events unfolding throughout the day for emergency first responders throughout the region. The tank car was filled with toxic fumes and there have been some injuries at the scene? You and your family reside in the houses that were in the path of a dangerous vapor cloud of gases from the tank car explosion. People are running in all direction; a public siren is heard, a loud speaker directing you to the nearest evacuation shelter? How will you handle it? Are you prepared?

When all my kids where younger I used to take them to places where I would volunteer my time, just to give them a glimpse of what it feels to give back to the community by volunteering. All of them used to give me a hard time especially when I am taking them to deliver brown bag full of canned goods and necessary living items to homes of those in need or volunteering to feed the needy in shelters or helping out sort out gifts for children who may otherwise may not receive any gifts for the holiday. Yesterday afternoon courtesy of our local news my son who got very excited, comes trotting down stairs "MOM!! It's going to snow in Roseville!" He tells me there was a Winter Storm alert for all of Placer and Sacramento counties. I just smiled at him thinking he must have heard wrong. ( can you tell, I don't usually watch the weather news) I flipped the TV switch and what do you know - he is telling no lie! The snow was suppose to fall throughout the County early Monday morning after rainfall and a decrease of temperature.

Fourth of July is days away!! Fire a salute, time to paint the town red, white, and blue! Do you know where you will be on Independence day? Roseville and Lincoln have a whole day planned for the community to celebrate, come down and join the party!
ROSEVILLE - Every year, Fourth of July in Roseville is celebrated as a community starting with an early morning parade in Historic downtown.
