hobbies: Don't be a big loser!

It's the new year and everyone is having a biggest loser challenge. People at work, the local newscasters and even my son has gotten a group together to lose big! They asked me to join and I said "no way am I weighing in front of anyone!" However, just like lots of other people I too need to lose weight. So which diet program do you choose? I have found, for me, it is not so much what I eat but, it is all about working out! I have to be at the gym at least 4 days a week and (0 comments)
hobbies: Super Bowl

Sunday evening 1/18/09 Tom is busy watching the last 2 teams play off for a chance to play in the super bowl. Just a little bit ago Phoenix Cardinals won their game! We have relatives in Phoenix so we are very excited about their win. Tom keeps saying maybe we will head to Florida to see them play in the Super Bowl. That sure would be nice since it is cold here in Oklahoma! Now as I sit here reading blogs on active rain the the other game is over. Pittsburg Steelers have won and will be the other competitor in (0 comments)

hobbies: Buy a house on a BIKE!?!

My husband recently began working with a new home buyer. When he found out the buyer was also a motorcycle enthusiast they found shopping for a homes a perfect excuse to ride bikes! A typical day shopping for homes included lunch at a local bike/sports bar and then a couple of happy hours looking at houses. They had a great time and made good friends! My son, Josh, soon joined in on the fun. The only disappointing part of the process was when the buyer found his home. Now they didn't have an excuse to go riding. But hey, a warm sunny day (5 comments)
