Hey Folks! Well been a long time. Back in April of 2008 I had to take a break due to breaking my arm. Well this April I had another accident. This time it took a little longer to recover. Hey Folks! Well we don't expect to see anything that will "shake" the market today. The biggest concern I see is the trend for property values. Folks looking to refinance or purchase need to move forward. The recent news with sales and foreclosures is not good to hold or build on home values. It may put purhase sellers in a position that they will not be able to sell and for refi will put in a position of negative equity or push you loan to value over 80% and require mortgage insurance. Hey Folks! Well the news is not all positive today. Consumer Confidence just came in at 38.0. This is a All Time Low. The consensus was for 43.8 and November’s reading was 44.7. The good news is that rates have not changed from Monday’s close. We expect this to change. So if you are closing within the next 30 days I would recommend to lock today. We protect ourselves by not opening attachments from folks we don’t know, deleting all of those nasty emails promising money from foreign countries and all of the newest drugs for pennies on the dollar.
