Come out and support Katy ISD FFA students at the Livestock Show and Rodeo at its new home! The rodeo runs from Thursday, February 14th through Saturday, February 16th, at 7:00 pm each evening. It's new location is the new Agricultural Sciences Center at 5825 Katy Hockley Cutoff Road in Katy! The carnival will be open each day from 5:00 pm until midnight. Freezing temperatures are on the way for the Katy and Fulshear area this weekend.  Here’s a quick checklist to make sure your home is ready for the colder temperatures.
PIPES
Be sure to protect your spigots and sprinkler system pipes to avoid costly repairs. 
Spigots:  You can purchase spigot covers at your local hardware store.  If you are unable to find the covers, you can wrap your spigot with insulation or towels, and secure it with duct tape.

It's Fall, y'all!  For a fun family event, head over to the 10th Annual Scarecrow Fest at Cross Creek Ranch on Saturday, October 20th.  Admission is free, and you can buy unlimited carnival ride tickets for $10 (in advance) or $15 at the door!  The festivities run from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at 6420 Cross Creek Bend Lane, Fulshear, TX.
