maricopa: Geat buys in Maricopa,Az - 12/18/08 04:53 AM
I previewed a home in Maricopa, Az. for a potential client yesterday. 3000 sq feet with a nice large yard and in great condition. Maricopa has been hit hard by the falling market and there are some great buys out there for the home buyer that is looking for a newer home in a growing community with new schools and shopping on the way. Contact me and I will be happy to show you properties in the area

maricopa: Golf in Maricopa - 12/13/08 04:28 AM
If you are looking for  golf in the Town of Maricopa you are in luck. There are two very good courses. The Duke at Rancho El Dorado is a well maintained Resort course located in a home subdivision. If you want something diferent There is Southern Dunes. formerly a private club that has recently changed ownership and is now semi-private. It is a tough course and I recommend it for the better players out there.Tim

maricopa: New shopping - 08/10/08 06:15 AM
Ground was broken this week for a new Wal Mart in Maricopa. A large Tutortime and also a new Mcdonalds are just about open also. You don't have to be a big fan of any of these companies but it will give you an idea of what is happening in an area. The growth of the City of Maricopa continues and will for a long time to come. The weather is great (you just have to adjust to those 100 degree days in the summer).

maricopa: Golf in Maricopa,Az - 06/11/08 01:50 PM
I am guessing that there are some golfers out there. How would you like to be in golf heaven. No tee times, 3 hour rounds, championship course conditions, shortest tees on the course are over 6300 yards, longest tees over 7300 yards. It is a players course. Need I say more?

maricopa: Maricopa,Arizona - 06/11/08 01:44 PM
There was a story on Nightline not too long ago talking about Maricopa, Az. I didn't get to see the whole thing but it indicated that this is one of the worst markets anywhere.Right now there are great bargains on homes and it is still a great area to consider moving to. Our weather is a little toasty in the summer but I can tell you from personal experience that as some of us get older and we start feeling the bones creaking and stiffening up that the heat makes the body feel pretty good. We don't have hurricanes or tornadoes. … (0 comments)

maricopa: Acreage listing - 06/11/08 01:25 PM
I just listed my neighbors property south of Maricopa, Az. He has had it listed for at least a couple of years and actually turned down offers in the 45K per ac. range. Unfortunately that was when property in this area was going nuts. It is now listed at 26K per ac. We have a great little area with a number of custom homes on lots that are at least 2.39 ac. great views and peaceful evenings. Easy access to Interstate 8. The raw land market has really struggled here in the last couple of years and I think this is … (0 comments)

maricopa: Hidden Valley - 09/02/07 03:53 PM
I tried to add a community to the Localism site but I got the big red X. Hidden valley is a pretty large area west and south of the Town of Maricopa in Arizona. It is twenty miles plus long and at least five miles wide. It consists of a lot of acreage and a number of small subdivisions that are being developed. It has been around a long time and I think it deserves to be called a community just like all the new cookie cutter subdivisions with all their HOA's. There are a lot of great people, beautiful homes, horse … (2 comments)
