I believe Active Rain is going to be affected by this merger, hopefully it be be in a positive direction. Exposing our existence to the public will be an asset to welcome. I do agree with Rob's comment, most people have heard of Zillow and Trulia but not Active Rain until I inform them of this fantastic community that they MUST VISIT. As I'm sure many of your have heard, today Zillow entered into agreement to purchase Trulia. As part of the Trulia family, ActiveRain will be included in the purchase. According to the first-ever United States Peace Index, created by the Institute for Economics and Peace Institute,. Rhode Island ranks as the 8th most peaceful state in the country. Happy 3rd Birthday Braydon Pierce Corbett Monday, April 20th was my second grandson's birthday, Braydon Pierce Corbett's 3rd birthday. Unfortunately I was not able to spend it with him because he and his the family are in Anderson, South Carolina, 19 driving hours away from Providence, Rhode Island. My first-born son, John Michael moved to SC to attend Clemson University. South Carolina is a little too far from Rhode Island for a quick trip, so I missed out on Braydon's 3rd birthday. Being a native-born Rhode Islander since 1944, born in Pawtucket, RI, lived and taught in East Providence until 1969, when I was married, moved to Pawtucket until 1972 when we bought our first home and raised our family in Lincoln, I am proud to say I LOVE MY STATE.
