family: More on Family things.................

We just returned from my Nephew's wedding on Friday and a family reunion on Saturday. They were both in Northern Utah, and I am glad that they were both this weekend. With gas prices continuing to rise and the time driving to Northern Utah is not what I thought that I wanted to do more than one weekend a year. It didn't take long for me to realize that what ever the cost was, it was money well spent. You only get big occassions like weddings every so often, so it is important to be involved with them. I probably won't get another real good opportunity to blog before we leave to go to Northern Utah for my nephew's wedding and a family reunion. I don't know whether my nephew is brave, foolhardy, or just in love to tempt fate with a Friday the 13th wedding. His choice, not mine! I shouldn't say things like that, 13 used to be the number that I would wear when I played baseball; but a marriage is serious stuff to tempt fate like that.
