There is some fun activities planned for tomorrow night. The Iron County Fair has some preliminary events scheduled prior to the official start of the fair. Tonight is one such event. It is Demolition Derby Time at the Iron County Fair.

I have mentioned before that the Cedar City Real Estate Market has a few subdivisions with detached single family units mixed in with twin homes or duplex styled homes. The Terraces at Black Rock is another of those mixed subdivision in Cedar City. It is a newer subdivision built in 2005. It is another subdivision that saw a lot of sales to investors initially. It is on the East edge of the Black Rock Subdivision.

I have mentioned before that a couple of weekends ago, Darcy and I attended my High School Reunion in Woods Cross, Utah. While we were up in Northern Utah enjoying reaquainting ourselves with my former classmates we took a side trip to the City Creek Center Mall in Downtown Salt Lake City. It is a wonderful mall with a creek running along the ground level of the mall. It is also huge, we didn't come close to visiting the entire mall! We did take a few photos of the mall.

The Cove Subdivision is one of the gems in the Cedar City Real Estate Market. The Cove Subdivision is a mature subdivision built in the early to mid 1980's. It is made up of single family detached homes. It is still a very nice subdivision. Homes vary in size, and as the subdivision was built in phases, there are some homes that are a lot newer than the original homes.

The Cedar City Real Estate Market doesn’t have a lot of gated communities. In fact Legacy Estates is our first and currently, only gated community in Cedar City. This is a subdivision of Mansions. It is a small subdivision in number, but not in size of the homes. The entire subdivision is not gated, just the select mansions inside of it. The subdivision its self is still comprised of custom or executive size and style homes. This is an exclusive subdivisions These homes don’t come up for sale very often.

In the Cedar City Real Estate Market, there is one Subdivision that is a 55+ community, Crescent Heights at Mesa Hills. This is a subdivision within a subdivision. It is part of Mesa Hills. One of the nice things about Crescent Heights is that it is a walled community, and is at the top of Leigh Hill. The new city reservoir is just South of the community.

We have all heard many times that practice makes perfect. Darcy and I pride ourselves on our ability to correctly use our cameras, whether they are the Nikon DSLR or the ones on our phones. The other day, I tooks some photos with my phone of how much rain had fallen as the water was rushing down the gutter past our car tires and in place over the curb. The Kayenta Subdivision is another of the older subdivisions in The Cedar City Real Estate Market. It was built in the early to mid 1960's. It is just West of South Elementary School. Kayenta is a quiet neighborhood with large starter or move up sized homes. There is some nice, mature landscaping in this subdivision. It is still centrally located in Cedar City, not far from anything.

In the Cedar City Real Estate Market one of the newer great subdivisions is Westview Estates. By writing about it, I am staying in the county on the South West side of town. These homes are all on at least 1/2 acre lots. There is a good mix of homes in the Subdivision, some that would be considered upscale starter homes to larger more executive styled homes.

Wild Flower is built on the West side of Leigh Hill, it does offer some great view from some of the lots. It is near the new Aquatic Center, and construction began in 2000, so it is a newer subdivision. Wild Flower subdivision is near shopping and schools.
