My son Jacob Daniel Thomasson is in Iraq; Northeast of Baghad in the military. He is attached to the infantry and has up close and personal contact with the people of that country. This has given me a whole new respect of the military of the past and the present. We take for granted the freedom and choices we have here in the United States. Just the fact of not having to withstand 122 degrees of heat in full garb; in itself is very remarkable. The fact that the wash machine is shared with 40+ men and women. These are just … (0 comments)

First of all, Real Estate has improved since when I last wrote...The buyers are beginning to get off the fence and buy. I believe the buyers are now getting to understand the "new normal" of our country and its problems. The interest rates are beginning to move up a tad; and so they have decided to finally listen! We have been writing a lot of contracts for 1st time home buyers and also our listings for homes in that 1st time home buyers are selling! Thank you God! Well, it is me again, the leader of The Diva Team of realtors. I didn't expect to take so long with my 2nd entry, but I have been busy with listing appointments and coaching buyers to get their confidence up to buy. How is it that all of us realtors know it is an awesome time to purchase, but can't convince our clients it is. I know that it is going to take more than just plummeting interest rates to get buyers out looking for their next dream home.
