spring or still inter: Rain, Rain...Go Away--Can you say "Flooding"?

Over the years that we have lived here in Michigan--[for Sal = all his time out of the Coast Guard & for me = all but teaching in OH & IL] We have had our share of storms. Storms that run the scale of mild to strong. Last evening and most of the night, to be accurate, our storms combined lightning, thunder,heavy rain fall and Noise. During these 'Spring Showers that will bring May Flowers' the house seemed to shake & vibrate. Actually, this was just the effect of the fact that I was sitting in the great room under 16'-18' center heigh ceiling.. Almost decided to … (6 comments)
