movers: Living Smaler - 08/20/14 11:43 AM

Ah, a summer Saturday afternoon with my granddaughter at the Boston Children’s Museum!
Exiting the train, we walk the seven-minute trek to the museum where she quickly gets engaged with tons of things to see and do.
“It’s a great museum for kids of all ages,” said the movers Jacksonville, Fl.
They’re right, though. My favorite exhibit is the Japanese House where visitors can step - take your shoes off - into an authentic two-story silk merchant’s home from Kyoto, Japan.
Here, explore a fully-equipped Japanese house reconstructed in Boston by Japanese carpenters.
Japanese family life, customs, ceremonies, art, architecture … (0 comments)

A recent headline — Bike use rising among the young, but skyrocketing among the old —caught the eyes of the Movers Jacksonville, Fl. "We've seen an increase in folks taking up riding after not being on a bicycle since childhood," they said.

The headline and article, published by a writer for the Green Lane Project, said that more than a third of the national increase in bicycling came from folks aged 60 to 79, according to analysis of federal data.

movers: Double-duty furniture helps with home organization - 07/19/14 01:24 PM

So, let the decluttering begin!

That's what my nephew's wife wrote on her Facebook page. Of course, if you're in the Army, as is my nephew, pulling up stakes and moving goes with the territory. With each move, this family gets rid of clutter. Staying organized is important to them. One thing they've discovered: double-duty furniture.

Today's furniture is designed for versatility and functionality, said the movers Jacksonville, Fl.

Take coffee tables that lift up to create a workspace. Designed with hinges, these modern tables lift up so you can prop up a laptop computer. Voila! An … (1 comments)

Nellie’s memory lives on at Marineland: Aquatic Park worth a visit
A story in the St. Augustine Record appeared recently about the passing of Nellie, the longest-lived dolphin in human care. Her caretakers at Marineland Dolphin Adventure, an aquatic attraction located south of St. Augustine, said the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin was born Feb. 27, 1953 at Marineland.
Nellie jumped through hoops and interacted with trainers at Marineland’s dolphin shows. During her lifetime, she gave birth to three calves: in June of 1967, June of 1978 and Jan. of 1984. “Nellie will be missed by many,” said the movers Jacksonville, Fl.

movers: Selling a home: St. Joseph can help - 07/17/14 12:38 PM

No luck selling your house or condominium? Consider intercession by a saint, said the movers Jacksonville, Fl.

A friend who is selling two pieces of land in New Hampshire recently visited the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, a place of pilgrimage in Attleboro, Mass., that serves the spiritual needs of visitors. While visiting, my friend said a display of home seller kits caught her eye. Inside the kit is a small statue of St. Joseph. On the back of the box, there is a printed story entitled The Legend of St. Joseph. It reads: St. Joseph … (0 comments)

movers: Moving Mailbox's|TFM Movers - 07/16/14 12:41 PM

Not only was my mailbox door stuck - as in it would not budge - the mailbox itself was leaning to one side prompting the postal carrier to say that it was nearly impossible to deliver the mail. Luckily, after several tugs and a few cuss words said under my breath, I got the door open. Now, how to fix the unintended tilt. The movers Jacksonville, Fl., suggested a trip to the hardware store.

There, I bought one bungee cord. A friend came by with additional cords, each with small hooks at both ends. Working together, we managed to wrap the cords … (2 comments)

What’s happening in May in St. Augustine
Ever seen a pink jail? Built in 1891by Henry Flagler, the “Old Jail” of St. Augustine served as the St. Johns County Jail until 1953. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, visitors are allowed to walk through it and go inside actual cells. Careful, they’re a tad tight. Really eerie, though, is the gallows behind the jail where eight hangings took place, said the movers Jacksonville, Fl. Ironically, the outside of … (0 comments)

To show his gratitude for the care his father received before his passing, the son donated a piano to Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The only question was how to get it delivered. Enter the movers Jacksonville, Fl.
Such prized possessions require experienced professionals as well as proper equipment. Not only are pianos heavy but their finishes are vulnerable to scratches. Special handling is required to protect the instrument’s fragile inner workings, too. Also, it’s … (0 comments)

movers: Benefits of Warmer Climates|Movers Jacksonville Fl. - 04/11/14 12:12 AM
Don’t you wish you could line up at an outdoor ice cream shop year round? The movers Jacksonville, Fl., realized recently that, if you live in colder climates, mouth-watering frozen treats in cones are only served outdoors in warmer weather. Usually, that’s from April to October, weather permitting. It’s just one more reason to consider moving to a sunnier climate. There you can dine outdoors on cones, sundaes, shakes and floats all year long. Has it been a while since you tackled clutter?  Are your closets overflowing?  Is your dining room table covered with stuff?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, the movers Jacksonville, Fl., said it’s never too early to start organizing your stuff and dumping things you no longer need or want. movers: Moving a Water Bed|Movers Jacksonville Fl. - 03/05/14 12:12 AM
On moving day everything but the water bed mattress is packed for the arrival of the movers Jacksonville, Fl. the dilemma: water beds aren’t allowed on second-floor apartments. So, instead of attaching a garden hose to the mattress valve and hanging the hose out the bedroom window (ideally, using gravity), you put the hose into the shallow shower stall to siphon it out. Best solution? Well, not exactly. Some water overflowed onto the bathroom floor and, so, the box packed with towels had to be found before the water could be soaked up.
When the mattress is drained as much as … (2 comments)
