prioritize: Moving Your Body Can Do Great Things

By setting one of my personal goals to get in shape and lose weight, affirming this end result everyday and doing the steps to get there - I (Kelly) have lost 33 pounds since the end of Sep 07 and I only have 4 more pounds to reach my ultimate goal. Now I am incorporating situps, pushups and light weights to build the muscle which will help burn fat. Here's what worked for me: I walked 1/2 a mile to warm up (less than 1/4 mi warm down) and 2 miles as fast as I could each day (min 6 days a week). I (10 comments)

Start each day, the same way - It is reported that it takes 30 days to form a habit To Do List with the first items being permanent and should include 1. Affirmations 2. Focus on Your Vision Board 3. Commit to a Positive Attitude for the Day 4. Journal 5. Review your calendar. (By the way, you should have already done your work out) 6. Add the rest of your activities for the day and prioritize them. Have goals in every circle of your life and keep them balanced. Personal, Financial, Spiritual, Business, Family. Stay in sequence in each circle so that you get out (0 comments)

How many of you feel that you have reached your full potential in each area of your life? Why do we let ourselves be held back? Brian Buffini defines our lives into 5 areas : Personal, Financial, Spiritual, Business, Family. If you have one of the five areas out of balance, it will affect the others. We should have written goals in each of these areas. We should continuously review, refine and check them off when we accomplish them. Our affirmations should reflect those goals. If you didn't - what was stopping you? Why would you not want to start (and end) each day with positive affirmations? It takes less than a minute - Just Do It! How many of you have created a visualization board and put in a place where you can be constantly reminded of what you are Grateful for on one side and what you want (Vision) on the other side. The Vision side answers the Big "Why?'. Why you are willing to do what it takes to get those things you want. Maybe a new car, a trip to see relatives you (3 comments)
