The new EPA rules regarding renovation, repair and painting done on homes built before 1978 now require renovators and painting contractors to get certified with the EPA's new lead based work practices. Home owners are exempt. We are being told it will not impact us. Right! How about the home owner who does the work them selves to save the cost and it comes out terrible? Try selling that house. Or, repair work that never does get done, because of the now increased price? Those energy saving windows will never get installed. This new law is to protect children from the dust … (3 comments)
