The weeks leading up to April 30th were crazy getting buyers under contract and having the majority of our listings fly off the shelve, several with multiple offers. When Loreena Yeo (Active Rain Superstar) emailed us a month or so ago asking if we would be interested in meeting her as she was traveling through Philadelphia as part of her family vacation, we of course said "Yes" !! These opportunities come few and far between. I really enjoyed meeting Loreena and Michael in person !! They are of course just like who they are on their blog, very friendly and genuine.

Philadelphia Active Rain Gathering Thanks to Jeff Belonger, a great Active Rain gathering was held in Philadelphia this past week at Cavanaugh's in Rittenhouse Square . It is always a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow colleagues and even better to meet fellow Active Rainers and bloggers ! Listing success in Northern Liberties Have you ever really thought that you would be representing a seller to find out that they listed with someone else ? Or it was a competitive situation and the seller chose to list with a different realtor ? In those cases, what do you do ? I know it is very easy to be super upset and angry. Sometimes I think how listings are procured by agents. There are so many different strategies in terms of marketing to new clients. Also I am amazed with all the agents that are out there, how did it come to be that it is myself or my wife that becomes the agent for a particular seller ?
