Going "Neutral" in Home Staging In the home staging training classes at The Real Estate Home Staging School TM, based in Asheville, NC, we teach the difference between going neutral and going neutral correctly. As homeowners and agents work to prepare the property, often walls are refreshed with a neutral paint. We teach our home staging students that neutralizing isn't that simple. The whole purpose of neutralizing should be to create and enhance visual square footage. Square footage after all, is what the buyer desires.
