Which site would you think gets more traffic and generates more leads (this isn’t an optical illusion)?

  Answer:  Ugly Betty, hands down (you’ll have to trust me, I’ve seen both sites traffic metrics).  Why/ How??  It’s easier to locate Ugly Betty’s listings than Pretty Womans.   I don’t believe this to be by (intelligent) design, which makes the point of this post…it’s all about the listings.  So much so, I’d lay a healthy bet (if I were a betting man) that a … (23 comments)

listings: The End of The MLS As We Know It? - 12/08/06 03:15 AM
The well funded real estate data aggregating map mash-up, Zillow.com announced late yesterday the addition of a few new features, most notably, the ability for real estate agents and consumers to plant Virtual For-Sale signs on Zillows website. They added a nice Wikipedia link to research relative real estate articles too, but the free listing feature embedded in such rich 3rd party content is now the early mover towards Real Estate 2.0 dominance. What are the future ramifications of such a service?
