Why would you turn your business over to a lead generation company? That's the same as renting a goldmine being used by many and abandoning your own perfectly good exclusive one. Trust comes from your reputation, typically as a giver first. People want to know you care about them and they can trust you before thy give to you. So, break the ice and be a giver-in fact be a GO-GIVER!

We can't force the grapevine to bear fruit, nor can we bribe it. Alas my friends, there's work involved: we have to water it, fertilize it, protect it from pests and the frost; hence the harvest comes when it's supposed to, not when we want it to. However, if we plant enough vines, maybe even a variety of fruit bearing trees, shrubs & vines, we'll enjoy more than one harvest in a season. This takes time and it requires both skill and patience, but it's the Law of the Harvest.

Sounds the same, what's the difference you ask? It's a big difference actually ...
 
 
What many folks I come across in networking thing is working by referral, is really just word of mouth. Word of mouth is very random in practice and in results. Conversely, working by referral is very on purpose and produces predictable results. When you have predictable results, you have a business!
