Times are changing and the skillsets you posses (and more importantly convey) are going to be your bridge from surviving 2023 to thriving in 2024 as we move through the 2023-2024 era of inflation, recession, bank failures, the interest rates rollercoaster and a billion dollar+ NAR lawsuit that will be ultimately be challenging if not changing how you get paid-at least as a selling agent.

I have spent years vacationing and part-time living on Maui, Hawai'i. Whenever I'm there, inevitably people in service, neighbors and strangers will say "Aloha!" (hello, goodbye, love)or "Mahalo" (thank you). I never get pissed off and yell back - "I'm not Hawai'ian!". In fact I accept it as their culture being shared with me, they are greeting me in their own way. "When in Rome".

There was a cruise ship that broke down 3 hours before departure. In a panic the cruise line called out their "big guns" in-house maintenance crew who arrived with 15 mechanics and technicians that toiled away for 60 minutes.
No Luck, no repair.
In a bigger panic the cruise line Googled the best 5 Star maintenance crew and had them rushed out to the cruise ship. They arrived with all the latest high tech electronics and tools, digital this and computerized that, where they toiled away for 90 minutes. No Luck, no repair.
