My title says La Jolla, CA but in fact all of San Diego County feels that way; the supporters do. I drive by this memorial almost daily, it peeks at me from it's perch, high above Highway 5 ... In La Jolla, CA there stands a cross, a memorial to our military atop Mount Soledad with views like none other in San Diego County. You can see Downtown and beyond to Mexico to the South, Carlsbad to The North, all of the big blue Pacific and La Jolla to the West and we can pratically see Arizona to the East!
