You will see from the statistics below that the Louisville Real Estate Market has slowed a bit. For the week 28-Nov until 4- Dec listings were down over 5%- not really alarming considering the unsold inventory still in the MLS. The solds are also off some from prior year- but this is a small snap shot. Also remember that this is the period following Thanksgiving and sales do slow down some. As you can see from the charts- Louisville Real Estate has seen some drop off in sales from 2010 YTD through October in all areas except for three- St. Mathews Ky and Crescent Hill are both up over 2010- which is expected given the stable markets in these areas as well as the Highlands. The surprise is the Area 5 which includes the Iroquois Park/Fairdale area. This area has seen some growth in 2011 in units sold but a dramatic decrease in price.
