The website DSNews.com, just posted an article by Esther Cho titled "Consumer Sentiment Improving, Fannie Mae Survey Shows" Respondents to the survey expect the home sale prices to increase this year by 1%. They also felt that home loan interest rates will not rise. The resulsts of this Fannie Mae National Housing Survey for January 2012 shows this makes four months in a row in which consumer outlooks were positive. The St. Louis Association of Realtors recently released home sale stats for 2012. These statistics are a summary of the homes sold in St. Louis County and City, and were compiled to present information to the media and the National Association of Realtors.
While the number of homes sold in 2012 were down from both 2009 and 2010, the stats show the number of homes sold compared to 2010 increased every month since June. Great news!
