developments: West Bedford Waterfront Development Meeting Shows the Plan

I just returned from a meeting the city conducted to reveal the West Bedford Waterfront plan including Birch Cove and it was awesome!! Picture a village type environment surrounding a round-about replacing the current Kearney Lake Rd/Bedford highway interchange. Concerns over traffic were addressed by pointing out that this vision will take approximately 20 years to complete and the new Larry Uteck Interchange onto the Bi-Hi will alleviate congestion as would improved transit options currently being developed.
