Can a salesperson do more deals by having more than one way to handle a prospect? Can we play different ROLES in the Sales DANCE depending on the Prospect's "style", without being "FAKE" ? At home I am Husband and Father. At work I may be a leader, to my assistant, an agent of my broker, and a servant of my client. All roles are true and none are fake. I am free to choose what role to play in each situation. Does this make me a "fake" or an "actor" ? As far as serving clients, there are a great many sales trainers who teach (4 comments)

A very important sales skill is mastering the ability to create urgency - but that is tough in this market (maybe not yours if prices are still appreciating?). The right price on the right house still does the trick. Read that again. It's simple, but powerful. Many buyers are frozen right now. With price depreciation it is hard to turn shoppers into buyers. In most parts of the country there just might be a better deal next spring... Have you ever heard the phrase, it's hard to ride north on a southbound horse <LOL>,. So....
