lower township: Diamond Beach - Where exactly is it? - 03/17/07 01:09 PM
There is a geographic oddity involving where Diamond Beach is actually located.   Is it Wildwood Crest?
Actually,.....No!
Diamond Beach is really part of Lower Township.  As you head north on Ocean Drive after you reach the end of the Garden State Parkway, you cross a toll bridge to get from Lower Township into what appears to be Wildwood Crest. 
However, you are actually still in Lower Township for about another mile. Once you cross Rochester Avenue, you are in Wildwood Crest.  One would assume that the toll bridge separates the 2 areas, but that is not the case.

North Cape May is a great place to live.  I can attest to that, as I've called it home for the last 10 years.  I'm raising my family here.  I work here.  I expect to be here for a long time!
Don't confuse my town with Cape May, which is much more well known.  Although I used to live in Cape May for 10 years and absolutely love both areas, they are extremely different.  Cape May has the bigger name and the smaller year round population.  It is on an island and has beaches with beach tags.  It's primary industry is tourism, and the summertime … (0 comments)

It seems that every geographic area has it's turn to lead the way up regarding property values.
I believe the next hot spot in Cape May County includes the bayside communities of North Cape May, Villas and Del Haven.  
Although the lot sizes are generally small, these communities lie in close proximity to the Delaware Bay.  There are alot of primary residences and some second homes in what is the most populated township in Cape May County, Lower Township (except Del Haven which borders to the north in Middle Township).
