This morning I was getting ready for an appointment and looked out my office window only to see that it was indeed snowing to beat the band. Summers over, fall was short, although there is more left, and it's already snowing. It was really coming down there for awhile. One thing I always welcome when Lars and I drive through the Waukesha Country Real Estate market is all the beautiful old train stations and depots that have been preserved and are a welcome sight. The history that these beautiful stations and depots have are long ans wonderful. The large outstanding train station and depot in Oconomowoc is a great example. After the Milwaukee Road pulled its passenger service in the mid-1970s, it was vacant for years.
