Driving along the beach front looking out at Pewaukee Lake you wouldn't think of the history and activity that existed there at one point. My grandmother used to tell me of the times they would go and spend the day at Waukesha Beach. It wasn't too long ago that we could always congregate at Calvanos for a Monday night open music party, at least from what I can recollect. As I was recently working with buyers that were looking at lake homes for sale in Waukesha County Wisconsin and Waukesha County Lake Homes the charming people asked me Tom Braatz, Why do they call it the "Lake Country in Waukesha County Wisconsin"? . Many have explantions about the lakes, the wonderful people, as well as everything there is to see and do in Waukesha County but it also refers to the geography and where it sits in regards to everytrhing in the Waukesha County Life .

I can remember that old saying "Don't you know enough to get out of the rain?" Lately I question whoever or whatever the source of that saying was trying to convey.
When we are younger we could sit out and play in it, it had such a peaceful connotation. Years would go by and between driving and outside events it could become a nuisance.
This morning I was drinking a cup of coffee and looking out the window and reminiscing about rain in my life. Sounds strange, but it's true.

When I was younger I always heard lots of interesting inuendos about Pewaukee, and Pewaukee Lake. One in particular made me actually think it could hurt someone. The big thing was to stop at every bar around Pewaukee Lake and stop at every bar for a bar. This, in my eyes, not only would be dangerous, but crazy. There was seventy two bars at the time. Wouldn't that be a nice conversation with that individual!
