In the middle eighties I was fortunate to have a man that took me under his wing and taught me commercial and investment real estate in Waukesha County Wisconsin. It's a cold, snowy day in Wisconsin and I look forward to a change in scenery one day like most do. The snow is beautiful but the icy roads, snow banks, and very cold temperatures lend for a lot of paperwork and scheduling to be done in the beginning of the day. As I put the finishing touches on my goals for 2010 I look back at them and question myself if I can really attain such goals and are they realistic. It's times that we experience like these that really make a lot of us take a step back and see businesses, people, and many other avenues suffering because there is no such thing as a smooth ride forever and that picture off riding off into a sunset; well, sometimes it rains on that parade. I must say I am very proud of a lot of my fellow Waukesha County real estate agents. When I was younger we could always take our fishing poles down to the the Fox River and have a day of pulling in pan fish including bull heads, We could have done this for hours. Towering willow trees were everywhere and lent shady to the river as they shot out in to the shy. The park had so many botanical gardens ans everything was just beautiful. Smaller bridges through out the park for people to think,fish,romance,or pitch pennies into the wishing wells. Whole roll of massive concrete trellecesses forming dorms. It is hard enough keeping up with Holidays these days. Every time I turn around there is another event and great occasion. When I was younger I can remember being in grade school and the teacher making a point out of making and giving each other Valentines Day cards. I remember that I could always count on receiving that little token of gesture.
