John Mantooth, a resident of Hoover, has just debuted his first novel, The Year of the Storm. He will be speaking and signing his book at Barnes and Nobles at the Summit Tonight at 7:00 PM. John has won many awards for his writing, starting with his High School Creative Writing Award. His short stories have been recognized many times in the year’s best anthologies.
