california: Let's give credit where credit is due!

America is doing well and our real estate industry is flourishing. This is a great time to stop party politics and give credit where credit is due. President Obama inherited an atrocious economy and real estate market. Things were spiraling out of control. The plans that were implemented saved the auto industry, lending institutions and most important to many of us on Activerain, the real estate market.
Steps that were taken are unprecedented such as having lenders work out short sales rather than foreclosure in most circumstances. They also gave forgiveness on the money saved should a person lose their home.

Merry Christmas to all people of all ages, sizes, colors, religions, sexual persuasions, political parties, races, countries, sexes.
Christmas to us is that one time of year that we all let down our guard and become of one. Even during the Vietnam War guns were put down and peace was felt for one day. If we can do this for one day how about two day or a week or month or year. How about Peace on Earth and Mercy Mild, God & Sinners Reconciled.

The Fall in Southern California is an incredible time in real estate due to the perfect storm. Sellers have reached the peak pricing for the year and buyers are able to purchase a home with less competition. This is that time of year when both parties are happiest with making a deal.
Selling a home and buying another at the same time is more beneficial at this time as well. The home they are selling, if priced and promoted properly, should sell in a timely manner. The home they hope to purchase will be much more apt to accept an offer … (1 comments)

According to the most recent data available, the NHTSA says the stats show Memorial Day weekend is the most dangerous. There couldn't have been better news for the struggling middle class than we heard on Friday. The Fed has decided to hold interest rates and will not raise them for now. This is incredible news for those with adjustable interest rates, home owners thinking of selling and of course those sitting on the fence that need an added incentive to get off the fence and purchase a home.

Whoever shows the house gets the commission. We don't get paid unless we close escrow. Ask your agent not me. Tell them at the Open House you have your own agent. There are many things we know as Realtors and are unknown to the general public. It is our job and responsibility to educate the public instead of knocking them for not knowing how we work.
It seems to me that many if not most Realtors aren't aware that the way we work is common to us but unknown to the general public.
